YOGA

Yoga to help you feel strong, mobile and at ease.

Yoga has been at the heart of my work for over a decade. My classes combine mindful movement, breathwork, strength, mobility and relaxation. With a sprinkle of lighthearted fun, a pinch of self-enquiry and plenty of options throughout, you can adapt your practice to your body and your energy on any given day. I don't believe yoga needs to look a particular  way. It's about developing a relationship with your body, your breath and yourself.

YOGA TEACHER TRAINING

I also train and mentor yoga teachers, drawing on over a decade of teaching experience, extensive specialist training and eight years of training teachers. Maybe as a yoga teacher you are feeling a bit stuck in a rut, need some career path advice or just a friendly ear to bounce ideas off. Mentoring could be a great option for you. You can book a free 30 minute discovery call to discuss mentoring with me. Are you interested in adding pregnancy yoga to your teaching skillset? THE APPROACH

Vinyasa Flow is more than just movement; it is a moving meditation that connects breath with intention. My approach prioritizes mindful awareness and exploration of your individual movement, allowing you to be in conversation with your body and find what works for you. We build strength and mobility with awareness to help you feel at ease in your body and steady in your mind. Through fluid sequences and steady breathwork, we explore the body's natural intelligence and rhythm, creating a practice that balances physical vitality with mental clarity and emotional ease. I try to bring a bit of lightheartedness to the practice so you can find joy in the moment and let go of your internal judgement. We always finish with a relaxation practice so you can find ease and leave feeling replenished after your practice.

KIND WORDS

"Jo is always positive and uplifting and meets you where you are in your practice. Her classes are invigorating and nurturing with options to adapt poses if you need a bit more heat. I'd recommend her to anyone looking for an enjoyable, accessible yoga instructor with heaps of experience. Thanks so much for everything you do Jo!"

Kate M

"I began 1-2-1 yoga sessions with Jo following the diagnosis of a health condition. Jo manages the perfect balance of teaching respect for how your body is feeling in every practice and pushing you to explore new postures. Jo’s focus on good alignment, individual movement and indeed having space for laughter allowed me to feel safe and empowered as well as having the joy of working with someone who would carefully and patiently break down movement for me when I was not able to transfer what I was seeing into positioning myself."

Pam T

"I do weekly classes with Jo and would thoroughly recommend! I find her cues easy to follow, and she is always happy to explain or adjust poses if needed. Most importantly, the classes are always fun, and I come out feeling so relaxed!"
